Dr Marcus Spry BDS, clinical director
Dr Marcus Spry BDS has spent many years practicing in Kent, qualifying from the Royal London Hospital Dental Institute in 1985 and where he was also a clinical tutor. With a wealth of experience in general dentistry, Marcus is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign® (clear brace orthodontics) and facial aesthetics having extensively trained in these areas. Marcus has a reputation as a safe pair of hands and has a reassuring chairside manner.
Dr Richard J Snoad MSc BDS FDS MGDS RCS Registered Specialist in Periodontics
Richard qualified as a dentist in 1980, gaining Membership in General Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCS (Ed.)) in 1992 and a Master of Science (with distinction) in Periodontology from the Eastman Dental Institute in 1996. As well as his specialist teaching, he is active in post-graduate education for dentists and extended duties for dental hygienists. In 2007 he was elected to the Board of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK), RCS (Eng.) as Director SW. Thames Division.
Louise Spry BA(hons) Dip AD, business manager
Louise has worked closely with Marcus since 1990 in the management of previous practices and, at Fresh Dental Care, is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the practice, its planning and development. Louise is also a graduate designer and a bookbinder. When not in the practice, Louise is usually in her garden or visiting a gallery or museum.
Rachel Bromley Dip DT RCS (Eng) Dip DH RCS (Eng) dental hygienist and therapist
Rachel has been a team member at Fresh Dental Care since we opened in September 2008. In addition to being a dental hygienist, Rachel is also a dental therapist, qualifying from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2006 and regularly attends post graduate courses. Rachel was born and went to school in Maidstone. Away from the practice Rachel is usually to be found in the gym!
Laura Pritchard BA(hons) RDN dental nurse
Laura is also an original team member who joined the Fresh Dental Care team in September 2008. Laura is a registered dental nurse and with a degree in Dance, Laura’s spare time is often spent in a dance studio.
Julie Newman reception
Julie is a recent addition to our team, having managerial and administrative qualifications, she is an experienced receptionist. Julie has lived in France and Southern Ireland and has now returned to Maidstone where she was born and went to school. Julie enjoys keeping fit and has represented Kent in athletics, netball and basketball.
