What is Cfast?
Cfast treatment is an orthodontic-based method used to treat misaligned, crowded or crooked teeth. Cfast focuses on your front teeth, visible when you smile.
What properties do Cfast braces possess?
Cfast are designed to be a discreet treatment and incorporate tooth-coloured brackets and wires into their design to achieve this.
How do Cfast braces work their magic?
The nickel titanium wires work with the ceramic brackets to gradually and gently guide your teeth into a desired position.
What is the difference between Cfast braces and tradition metal braces?
As well as the aesthetic differences, Cfast differ from traditional metal braces in a couple of other ways. Whilst traditional metal braces aim to shift your teeth and jaws, Cfast braces focus on moving the teeth for purely cosmetic reasons and do not address more serious functional issues. They’re also not suitable for younger patients. Here at Fresh we offer Invisalign Express which is a similar treatment but focuses on less complex orthodontic issues and can straighten your teeth in as little as 6 months.
How will the braces affect my lifestyle?
You will have to make a couple of amendments to your diet, avoiding harder foods so that they do not damage your brace. Your should also avoid chewy foods that could become lodged in the smaller parts of your brace, as these foods will make your more susceptible to the build up of plaque and tartar.
How long does treatment take?
Cfast braces are designed to be a short-term orthodontic treatment (fairly obvious from the name!). Treatment will take up to 9 months though most patients only require 4-6 months in order to achieve the results they were expecting.
