Fresh technology and facilities
The technological advancements in dentistry have allowed dentists to carry our procedures with ease and speed. Here at Fresh, we use several pieces of state-of-the-art kit in order to help our patients and make our job as dentists easier.
Here are a couple of examples …
Gone are the days of tricky impressions that are uncomfortable and time consuming….
The Cerec scanner simplifies orthodontic treatment for patient and orthodontist alike. It’s digital set-up allows your orthodontist to simply scan your teeth and send it of to the dental lab immediately. Conventional liquid impressions have to be physically sent off which can increase the process by 3 or 4 weeks.
Your mouth is scanned using a radiation-free laser.
Oral-surgery with PRFG-Endoret
When we go through an injury, we release proteins to trigger the repairing process. PRGF- Endoret technology works by isolating the patient’s plasma from the blood, and it is this plasma that contains the proteins which can speed up regeneration.
One your dentist applies a dose to the area of treatment, your body’s regeneration cycle speeds up due to the proteins.
Your dentist will need to draw a small amount of blood – this blood is then centrifuged and processed to obtain the proteins that are essential for regeneration. These proteins are applied to the area where the tissue regeneration is necessary.
This technology reduces inflammation as well as the risk of infection or post surgical complications. The use of PRGF-Endoret guarantees a significant improvement and absence of pain.
We can also link this to imaging technology with out in-house Cerec milling unit which has the ability to produce a full crown – totally bespoke to your teeth and taking a mere 6 minutes. You’ll also only need to attend one visit to Fresh Dental Care.
