Treat yourself to cosmetic dentistry in 2017

It’s a new year and a time when people think about positive and beneficial changes they can make in their lives. Perhaps you’re feeling self-conscious about the way your teeth look and would like to take steps to restore your confidence? Here at Fresh we can help. We offer cosmetic dentistry treatments that can change your life.

White fillings

Once upon a time, if you needed a filling the only option you had was a fairly conspicuous dark-coloured filling. Today, white fillings can offer your the brightest and freshest looking smile possible as your smile can look natural and no-one need know you have had a filling. If you already have a mercury amalgam filling, your smile can be transformed by simply replacing this with a coloured composite filling or a ceramic restoration. As well as being more aesthetic, white fillings are stronger and less sensitive to hot and cold temperatures.

Crowns and Bridges

Here at Fresh we use state-of-the-art technology known as Cerec to offer same day crown appointments. Crowns are single tooth restorations that can be match to suit the colour and shape of your other teeth, restoring your smile and your confidence. They can be used as restorations for dental implants, giving a finishing aesthetic touch to your smile.

In some cases, a bridge may be a more viable option and can be used to replace gaps by ‘bridging’ the space using false teeth.

If you have a cracked, discoloured, chipped or damaged tooth, veneers are one of the best ways to restore your tooth. Veneers are often likened to how a false fingernail fits over a nail and replace the whole tooth unlike with crowns. Veneers require little preparation and are custom made porcelain laminates that are fixed onto your teeth. You can discuss what shade and colour you would like your veneer(s) to be and ensure that they match the appearance of your other teeth.

Veneers can also be used to close gaps in-between teeth as well as replace worn edges and resurface discoloured teeth.
